Menstrual Cup
A menstrual cup is a reusable menstrual hygiene device designed to be inserted into the vagina during menstruation to collect, rather than absorb, menstrual fluid. It is an increasingly popular alternative to traditional products such as sanitary pads and tampons.

How to Use JasiriCup
Follow these simple steps for safe, comfortable, and sustainable period management.
Step 1: Getting Set
Wash your hands thoroughly, sterilize your new cup by boiling it in water for five to ten minutes, and try to relax your body. Tension makes insertion much harder.
Step 2: Comfortable positioning
First, find a comfortable position that works for your body. You might try sitting on the toilet, squatting down, or standing with one leg raised.
Step 3: Folding the cup
Next, you will need to fold the flexible cup before insertion. You can use the common C-fold by folding it in half to form a "C" shape, or try the punch-down fold by pushing one side down into the base. The punch-down fold is often smaller and easier for beginners.
Step 4: Inserting the cup
Holding the folded cup firmly, gently guide it into your vagina. Make sure to angle it slightly toward your tailbone rather than straight up, and continue inserting until the cup is fully inside. The stem might sit just at the entrance.
Step 5: Opening and sealing
Once the cup is inside, release the fold so it can pop open and create a suction seal against your vaginal walls. You can check this by rotating the cup slightly or running a finger around the base to ensure it has opened completely.
Step 6: Comfortable wear time
When placed correctly, you should not feel the cup at all. You can comfortably wear it for anywhere from four to twelve hours depending on the heaviness of your flow.
Step 7: Removing the cup
When it is time to take it out, wash your hands and relax your muscles again. Gently pull the stem until you can reach the base, then make sure to pinch the base of the cup to break the suction seal before slowly wiggling it out. Do not simply yank the stem.
Step 8: Emptying and cleaning
Finally, pour the contents into the toilet and rinse the cup with clean water, or wipe it down if you are in a public restroom. You can then reinsert it, or if your period is over, sterilize it again by boiling it before storing it in a breathable pouch instead of an airtight container.
